New Product Alert: Alphabet Mats

Image
I have another new product that I just added to my TPT store!  I created this product  to   give   my   studen ts extra practice with the alphabet! Each alphabet mat has simple sight word based sentences to build reading fluency. Students will infer the last word in each sentence by using the picture in each box. The bottom row has an empty box for students to draw an additional picture that begins with that letter. They will   trace In the next box and the last box allows for students to write the letter   independently.   Black and white and color   versions are included. I'm so excited about the different ways students will interact with their letters! I included a color version to use for making anchor charts...and the clip art is really cute in color! You can click either picture to go to my TPT store!

Write the Room CVC Cards

I'm so excited to list a new product in my TPT store! I created this product to help my emerging writers make the transition from practicing individual letter sounds to putting those sounds together to make words. There are differentiated  cards with different letters missing  for each medial vowel as well as color and black and white versions of the cards.  There ar e   two   versions of   cards   for   each   medial   vowel.   One set   has the   letters   segmented in boxes and the other does not.  I’ve  made recording sheets as well as fill in the blank sheets with a picture word bank. Click on the picture to check it out! The preview on TPT shows all of the different cards for medial A.

Welcome!

Welcome to Pizzazz in Primary! I've tried blogging multiple times over the years and started different blogs a time or two but I'm hoping this time it will stick! What I'm hoping to accomplish through this blog is to connect with other teachers and hopefully inspire with things that are happening in Room 106! If you didn't know, teaching is a hard job, y'all! One of the ways I de-stress is by creating resources. I hope the products and ideas I share help make your job a little easier! I'm excited at this new year and new blog and can't wait to see what things are in store!
